Built by Many Hands: A Pavilion’s Tale

As part of the Manzar exhibition, organised by the Art Mill Museum in collaboration with the Heritage Foundation of Pakistan and Caravane Earth Foundation, Heenat Salma Farm served as a residence for the construction of six pavilions designed by Yasmeen Lari, Pakistan’s pioneering female architect, and built by the artisans of the Heritage Foundation of Pakistan and our craftsmen.

These structures are a testament to the power of craftsmanship, traditional knowledge, and sustainable building practices.
This exhibition is a tribute to the hands that shaped these structures, the shared knowledge, and the vision that continues to inspire a future of low-carbon, disaster-resilient architecture.
