Job Purpose

Caravane Earth is seeking a talented and versatile Copywriter and Translator to join our creative team. This role is central to shaping the narrative and voice of the brand across all platforms and audiences. You will be responsible for crafting compelling bilingual content in English and Arabic, ensuring linguistic accuracy, cultural relevance, and alignment with our unique brand identity. You’ll work across various media including digital, print, and on-site materials—bringing to life the Heenat Salma experience through storytelling, brand messaging, and creative copy.

Responsibilities

Content Creation & Copywriting

  • Develop engaging, bilingual content for digital and printed materials including brochures, websites, menus, social media, newsletters, and press releases.
  • Write storytelling-driven content for experiences across Heenat Salama: from the farm and the guesthouses to workshops, exhibitions, and public forums.
  • Support the creation of educational and training content, including school program guides, teaching materials, and internal manuals.

Translation & Proofreading

  • Translate written content from English to Arabic and vice versa, maintaining tone, style, and intent.
  • Proofread and refine both original and translated content to ensure linguistic precision and high-quality output.
  • Adapt messaging for cultural appropriateness while maintaining brand integrity.
    Branding & Creative Development
  • Collaborate with marketing, communications, and design teams to ensure consistency in brand voice and visual messaging.

  • Participate in creative brainstorming sessions and contribute to the development of campaign concepts.
  • Assist in crafting brand-aligned messages for internal communication, events, and public programs.

Project & Workflow Management

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, often working under tight deadlines.
  • Adapt writing style to suit diverse formats and audiences, from formal publications to conversational social media content.
  • Support the team in maintaining editorial calendars and meeting content delivery deadlines.

Supporting Programs and Projects

  • Review and translate proposals, presentations, and partner communications to ensure clarity, accuracy, and alignment with our tone in both English and Arabic.
  • Proofread and translate content across departments, supporting a variety of programmatic, educational, hospitality, and public-facing initiatives.

Creative Collaboration

  • Work closely with our design, communications, and programming teams to maintain a cohesive voice across all touchpoints.
  • Contribute to brainstorming sessions and campaign development, bringing creative writing ideas that align with the values of Caravane and Heenat Salama

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Translation, Marketing, or a related field.

Experience

  • Minimum 5-8 years of professional experience in copywriting and translation, preferably in a bilingual (English–Arabic) environment.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both English and Arabic.
  • Strong understanding of cultural nuances, localization, and audience engagement across both languages.
  • Ability to write with clarity, creativity, and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with branding, digital marketing, and SEO best practices.
  • Experience with content management systems and collaboration tools is a plus.
  • Experience in hospitality, wellness, cultural programming, or the creative industries.
  • Passion for storytelling, sustainability, and authentic experiences.

Competencies

  • Proficiency in Arabic and strong command of English, both written and spoken.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for grammar, punctuation, and style.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing principles and an understanding of how content impacts audience engagement.
  • Ability to adapt to shifting priorities, manage time effectively, and work independently or as part of a team.
