Validation

Heenat Salma invites innovators from around the world to use the Farm as a real-world validation environment for solutions that contribute to a more regenerative, resilient and balanced future.

01Test Here.We provide the environment — land, users, climate, operations.
02Learn Here. You bring the innovation. Results are measured, not assumed.
03Prove What Works.Together, we discover what survives reality.

Overview

Will it work in the real world?

Many promising innovations succeed in laboratories and controlled environments, then meet heat, users and daily operations for the first time. Heenat Salma — a working farm where land, people, animals, buildings, food, water and enterprise operate together — is a place to find out. We do not incubate businesses or develop ideas on your behalf. We provide the environment in which a solution is tested, measured, refined and validated under real conditions.

Can it withstand heat? Can people operate it easily? Can it reduce water or energy use? Can it be maintained? Is it economically viable? Can it scale?

Who Can Apply

You need a solution worth testing — not a base in Qatar.

  • Innovators and inventors
  • Start-ups and companies
  • Universities and research institutions
  • Scientists and engineers
  • Architects and designers
  • Farmers and agricultural researchers
  • Craftspeople and material innovators
  • NGOs and social enterprises
  • Students and research teams
  • Government and institutional research programmes

Process & Levels

From application to validation.

Step 01 of 07 — Apply

What Validation Means

Not an award, not an endorsement — evidence. Depending on the nature and duration of the trial, innovations may reach:

Level I
Demonstrated

Successfully demonstrated within Heenat Salma.

Level II
Operationally Validated

Functioned successfully under real operating conditions.

Level III
Performance Validated

Achieved agreed measurable performance indicators.

Level IV
Extended Validation

Reliable over an extended period or multiple conditions.

We validate results, not claims.

Why Qatar
Extreme environments reveal weaknesses quickly

Qatar's heat, aridity, water scarcity and demanding environmental conditions make it a particularly valuable place to validate solutions concerned with resilience. Solutions that perform successfully here may have relevance far beyond Qatar, particularly across arid and water-stressed regions of the world.

A global validation ground for regenerative solutions in arid environments.

Our Principles

Innovation that serves life.

We seek innovation that strengthens rather than exhausts natural systems,
that uses resources intelligently, that responds to place,
and that learns from both contemporary science and inherited knowledge.

Progress is not simply about making something new.
It is about finding better ways of living.
Innovation Validation
From Innovation to Evidence.
From Theory to Application.
From Prototype to Reality.
