Book (Built by Many Hands: A Pavilion’s Tale – Pre-order)

This photo book documents the making of six bamboo pavilions constructed at Heenat Salma Farm as part of the Manzar exhibition, in collaboration with Qatar Museums and the Heritage Foundation of Pakistan. Designed by pioneering architect Yasmeen Lari and built by skilled artisans from Pakistan and Qatar, the project showcases how sustainable, low-carbon structures can be raised with care, community, and traditional knowledge.
More than a record of construction, this book is a tribute to the people behind the work — and to the values of craftsmanship, cultural exchange, and building for a better future.
